Our journey began with a clear ambition: to uncover Scotland’s most remarkable single malt casks and share them with collectors around the globe as unique chapters in whisky form. Each release tells its own story.
Created by EXH (Elixirs by Hills), we are creating limited-release Scotch whisky by collaborating with independent distilleries across the six Scotch whisky regions (Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Islay, Campbeltown and The Isalnds) to produce future classic single malt nectars for discerning collectors.
For this inaugural edition, we bring you The Prologue. To create this sublime single-malt Scotch whisky, we travelled to the rugged western shores of Islay and the renowned Bruichladdich Distillery. There, we discovered a cask of rare distinction: a 2007 vintage patiently matured for 14 years in a prestigious Château Latour wine barrique. This exceptional European oak cask, once home to one of Bordeaux’s finest wines, has bestowed remarkable depth and complexity upon the spirit.
The Prologue is more than a whisky. It is a testament to the art of cask selection and the enduring character of Islay malt. This limited-edition release invites discerning whisky lovers to savour a perfect introduction to the world of Bard of Scotch.
